The Salt Spring Arts Council promotes educational opportunities on Salt Spring Island with Workshops on the Rock

The goal of Workshops on the Rock is to promote and create educational opportunities in the community. Each Spring, we publish and distribute a brochure with an exciting array of arts-based ‘At Large‘ workshops facilitated by artists and instructors in studios throughout Salt Spring Island. The brochure is distributed widely throughout the region.

In 2016, we are offering ‘In House‘ workshops that take place in historic Mahon Hall in the heart of Ganges. Workshops vary from one-time to 4 or 6 week sessions and many of these workshops are geared to children and youth. Registration is now open for the 2016 In House Workshops:

Intro to SAORI Weaving
