POST-SECONDARY AWARDS ASSIST STUDENTS WITH DEMONSTRATED ARTISTIC TALENT TO UNDERTAKE STUDIES IN THE PERFORMING, VISUAL OR CREATIVE ARTS FOLLOWING THEIR GRADUATION FROM SECONDARY SCHOOL.

This program recognizes and encourages emerging artistic talent and creativity in the performing, visual or creative arts among Southern Gulf Islands youth. It is intended to lower the financial barriers of access to post-secondary education in the arts at a recognized university or college (normally a Canadian institution) within one year of graduation from secondary school.

Applicants (or their parents) must have resided in the Southern Gulf Islands (School District 64) for a full calendar year prior to June 1 of the year of application.
